How do my deliveries and visitors access?

We have a video entry system which is activated by pressing the external button. A member of our team will then grant access for the individual to enter the building and our staff member will then meet and greet them. Where visitors are coming into the building, members must ensure that our staff are made aware of their pending arrival. Upon their arrival, visitors must sign-in and out using the “Visitors Book” for fire regulation compliance.

Can I access the College from The Bridge?

Members can walk from The Bridge, through the Richmond Business School to access the Educate Pallet restaurant; however, members are not permitted to enter classrooms or other meeting rooms unescorted by a member of RHACC staff.

Am I able to hire rooms in the College?

Yes, you absolutely can. This can be quoted for and arranged by emailing our team at hire@rhacc.ac.uk, where one of our team members will be happy to help you.

How many offices does The Bridge Workspace Richmond have?

The Bridge in Richmond has 8 offices, which are self-contained and secured

What are the opening times?

9am to 5pm daily for non members and 24hrs access for members.

Is there parking on site?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to provide our tenants and members with parking facilities. However, there is parking available locally and more ideally, the site is just a two-minute walk from Richmond Station.

What is the contract length?

The contract length is a rolling contract for 12-months, there will be a rent review conducted each year. After six-months, you will have the option to end the contract at any time, giving 2-months written notice.

Can I bring my dog to work?

We offer a dog friendly working environment, so we are happy for you to bring your doggy into work, but you are responsible for ensuring that any mess or accidents caused by your dog is cleaned-up. You are also responsible to make good or cover the costs of any damage caused.

Are there shower facilities?

We have several showers fitted within The Bridge Richmond, which are cleaned daily by our cleaning team. All tenants are able to access these facilities but are not permitted to retain personal items (including but not limited to shower gels, towels, flannels, etc.) in these spaces.

Is there disabled access?

The Bridge in Richmond is a fully accessible building, including disabled access via a disabled lift, from the rear ground entrance to the main lobby area. There disable access friendly toilet facilities on the ground floor. The communal kitchen is easily accessible also.

Can I decorate my office space?

We are happy for tenants to decorate their office, but this needs to be completed conservatively and tenants must obtain permission from the management prior to doing so.

Can I bring my own furniture?

We will be able to provide you with minimal furniture such as a desk, chair, pedestal, etc. However, you are welcome to ask us to remove these items and for you to supply your own.

Is there storage available?

We have a number of small locker cabinets available, and these can be hired at a cost of £5 per month.

Where can I hold private conversations?

We have a private telephone booth in the main area of the building which is completely sound-proofed and can be accessed at any time on a first come, first served basis.

Will you be holding networking events?

We are looking to hold regular networking events at The Bridge Workspace Richmond. We are also planning to hold bi-annual networking events between the two Bridge Workspaces in Surbiton and Richmond. These will be held one at the Surbiton site and one at the Richmond site to facilitate networking and collaboration for all members, across both sites.

How do my deliveries and visitors access?

You will have your own doorbell access on the main gates which will identify your individual office number. However, we do recommend that you advise visitors and delivery companies, to report to the RHACC main reception, if they do not get an answer from your doorbell. We do ask that they do not try other doorbells to gain access.

Am I able to hire rooms in the College?

Yes, you absolutely can. This can be quoted for and arranged by emailing our team at hire@rhacc.ac.uk, where one of our team members will be happy to help you.

How many offices does The Bridge Workspace Surbiton have?

The Bridge in Surbiton has 14-offices, and we plan to include an additional three offices this year.

What are the opening times?

Opening times for The Bridge Workspace Surbiton is 8am to 10pm daily.

Is there parking onsite?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to provide our tenants with parking facilities. However, there is parking available locally and more ideally, the site is just a two-minute walk from Surbiton Station.

As The Bridge in Surbiton is a listed building, disabled access is minimal. We do have a ramp access into the building and there are toilet facilities on the ground floor, including a disabled access toilet. Accessing the communal kitchen will be quite tight but is possible. However, those with accessibility problems will struggle to access offices 12,13, and 14.

Can I decorate my office space?

We are happy for tenants to decorate their office, but this needs to be completed conservatively and tenants must obtain permission from the management prior to doing so. This is due to the fact that the building is a listed building and so we need to ensure we are not breaching any regulations.

We will be able to provide you with minimal furniture such as a desk, chair, pedestal, etc. However, you are welcome to ask us to remove these items and for you to supply your own.

Is there storage available?

The majority of offices do have built in storage areas. Those that do not, we are happy to look at providing some minimal storage facilities within your office. There are no storage areas available outside of your own office space.
